So my goal to write every day has already been a FAIL :( I'll get back on track, this week was a transition week for me- probably not the best time to try to start something new like a blog! Last week was the final week of my summer classes (Grades came in today, A's in all four classes! YATZEE!) and also the final week of the summer camp I was working at. I didn't waste any time getting back to work...kind of wish that I would have though! I've been working at an amazing family owned Italian restaurant in my area called Stancato's since January and took the summer off for school and the summer camp. I started back at the restaurant on Monday. It was easy to jump right back into, and I am definitely excited about having tips in my pocket at the end of each night again! However, I am not loving working nights again, it's going to take some getting used to. It's nice having most of my day free, but it puts a damper on it knowing you have to get to work later. I've already ordered my old favorites on our menu (portobello mushroom ravioli and chicken teriyaki pizza, yum!) and realized that I need to start working out STAT, because the food there is just too good to say no to! Especially when I'm there all night- a girl's gotta eat! Also, now that my days have been free I finalized everything for subbing and unlike last year (don't even get me started) I'm officially on the subbing list for three school districts and am crossing my fingers that I will get lots of calls this time around! I'm also thinking about trying to get in with other school districts too, but I'll give it a couple of weeks to see how it goes with just these three.
